Hello!
I've got a new short story for you to enjoy, but before you read it, I thought you'd like to know where it came from ...
My Mother was my inspiration for writing ‘Annie’s Intriguing friends’.
Mum always sensed what was happening, long before anyone else. She did not considered seeing into the future as a gift, but rather, a curse. For this reason, it was something we seldom spoke about.
'Annie’s Intriguing Friends' is fiction but I have included some of the incidents Mum told me over the years.
She was a great animal lover, and when I was growing up in Africa in the 1960’s – she taught my siblings and me the importance of sharing our rural lifestyle with the creatures who lived around us.
She would say, "This world belongs to everyone. If you see a reptile or a creature that frightened you – turn and walk the other way."
This is something I still do today.
I hope you enjoy this free story giveaway – there are several more giveaways from myself and other authors as you scroll down.
At the very end of my newsletter is a sneak preview into ‘Driving Mister Crazy’, my new book to be launched at the end of May. |
